However, tooth decay is serious, and it should be repaired immediately because left untreated, it can spread to the nerve of a tooth or to surrounding teeth. Since you don't have to worry about marring your smile with dark fillings, let Dr. Gorman repair your cavities early, before they become big problems.

When you come in for a filling, Dr. Gorman will administer local anesthesia if necessary. He'll then remove the decay in your tooth and fill the cavity with a small dab of liquid composite resin, tinted to blend with the tooth. The resin will harden beneath a soft curing light, and Dr. Gorman can then shape and polish the filling before you leave our office.
